A little history ...

​It was following the acquisition of a land on the shore of the Etchemin River in 2017 and the observation over the summers of 2017 and 2018 of the tranquility of the site that the two owners decided to go ahead with a project of wild camping. Their goal was to allow campers who love wild camping to discover the zenitude of St-Léon as well as its hidden treasures.

​

 

In St-Léon, it feels like time stands still. Whether during a peaceful canoe descent, during a walk in the forest on the trails to observe the many species of birds as well as the various breathtaking landscapes or, quite simply, during a day of trout fishing in the Rivière Etchemin or its confluences, the Ruisseau à l'Eau Chaude and the Rivière des Fleurs.

The owners offer you a wild camping stay without service on one of their 17 sites, 13 of these sites are located on the edge of the Etchemin and 4 are located in the moutain. You will be lulled by the sound of the river and the chirping of birds.
